Brandon Riley is a seasoned Producer, Line Producer, UPM and Assistant Director (1st AD & 2nd AD) with 10+ years’ experience creating and managing high-profile film, TV, digital media and live events. He’s worked with numerous a-list Actors and talented Directors in 10 states with budgets under $10 million.  His ability to problem solve, think clearly in difficult situations and continually pull off the impossible make him an invaluable team player.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in Philosophy from the University of North Texas and is currently a member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America.

In his spare time Brandon enjoys developing and packaging projects (features and tv series) under his company Radiant First Productions for various markets and is often hired as a consultant to assist with the development process for numerous companies.

Brandon enjoys giving back to the film community and finding ways to help others succeed in their journey.  He currently hosts a film-making podcast (Go For Production) and runs a blog ( with the goal to demystify the film-making process and chronicle his experience.

Uses the latest software to create systems and streamline accounting, payroll, contracts, deal memos etc. Familiar with the following online systems (dropbox, google drive, setkeeper, sethero, scenechronize, hellotim, and more).


Owns the industry standard Movie Magic Scheduling. Experienced with creating schedules that accommodate actor/location restrictions and adjust for time-sensitive scenes that might include stunts/vfx/large extra scenes.


Owns the industry standard Movie Magic Budgeting. Experienced in creating professional budgets that range from $100K-30M that can include various unions (SAG, DGA, IATSE, WGA and TEAMSTERS).


Experienced working with kids of all ages. I have done numerous features with a child as the lead and worked with infants on a number of occasions. I am familiar with state child labor laws, Coogan accounts, studio teachers and working hours for minors.


Experienced in working with professional Background Casting Directors and independently sourcing Extras.  When faced with having to get volunteers for extras I have created solid systems using events, tapping into news organizations and utilizing social media.


I make sure that in pre-production all departments have the tools and man-power needed to adequately do their job before filming commences. During production my aim is to keep Dept heads informed about key issues throughout the process and solve problems in an on-going fashion.
